Mrs. Alice Fann Sanders passed away peacefully January 16, 2020.  A Jacksonville native, she attended the local public schools, graduating from Stanton Senior High School.  Furthering her education, she attended Jones College, where she earned Certification in Cosmetology as well as Nursing Certification. Mrs. Sanders was employed as an LPN by Hyde Park Nursing Home, having rendered over 20 years of dedicated service before retiring.  She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Sanders and daughter, Marvetta Sanders.  Survivors include her children, James E. Sanders (Cherrye), Ms. Harriett Y. Sanders and Ms. Brenda Sanders Collier; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 51 great-great grandchildren; brother, Nathaniel Fann; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
