HENRY - Mrs. Altamese Williams Henry passed away peacefully on December 14, 2018. A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local public schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1941.  Furthering her education, she attended Florida A&M University and Edward Waters College, where she earned a B.S. degree.  Mrs. Henry was employed as a Counseling Superintendent with the Department of Children & Families, having rendered 44 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include being a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and The Florida Council on Aging.  She was predeceased by her sons, Kenneth Henry and David Henry and aunt, Mrs. Ida L. Williams.  Survivors include her children, Ms. Antoinette Williams, Reginald Henry, Sr. and Robert Henry, Sr.; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; step brother, James Scott (Naomi); very special friend, Ms. Nancy P. Woolford; a number of other relatives and friends.
