Mrs. Angie Louise Sherman, a resident of Albany, NY, passed away on April 6, 2021 in Silver Spring, MD.  A native of Jacksonville, she resided in New York most of her life.  Mrs. Sherman was employed by the City School District of Albany as a Teacher, where she rendered over 25 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include being a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Albany, NY, Reverend Heather Kirk Davidoff, Pastor, the Ladies Who Lunch Group as well as the organizer of Alpha Sigma Tau Women's Society.  She was predeceased by her parents, Ossie and Mrs. Annie Bell Underwood Gardner and brothers, Kenneth Gardner and Larry Gardner.  Survivors include her daughter, Ms. Lori K. Sherman; siblings, Ms. Delores Gardner James, Ossie Gardner, Henry Gardner and Ms. Irma Gardner Rucker; aunt, Mrs. Charlie Mae Gardner; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
