Mrs. Bessie Frazier Jones passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, January 23, 2021.  A native of Manning, SC, she lived in Jacksonville most of her life and attended the local schools, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1944.  Furthering her education, she attended Edward Waters College. Mrs. Jones was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Jones, Jr.  Survivors include her darling daughters, Mrs. Rosalind Jones McClain (Freddie), Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jones Gibson (John), Mrs. Jacquelyn Jones Christopher (John), Ms. Deborah Jones Morton, Mrs. Denise Jones Dawson (Mark) and Ms. JoAnn R. Jones; grandchildren, Joi (Russell), Tracie, Mychelle, John, III, Joscelyne, Jacquelyn, Justin and Monye' (Brian); nine great grandchildren; godchildren, Harold Johnson (Diane) and Pamela Hosendorf; a number of other relatives and friends.
