MRS. CHARLIE MAE JACKSON JONES was a native of Bainbridge, Georgia, born October 4, 1946, to the late Charles Emory and Hattie Mae Jackson.  After leaving Marshallville, Georgia, she attended the local schools in Jacksonville, Florida and was a graduate of William Marion Raines High School - Class of 1965.  Most of her adult life she lived in Jacksonville, Florida.  She was member of the Riverview Church of Christ.  As an administrative assistant she was employed by Aetna Insurance Company.  She was a dedicated employee rendering more than 20 years of service before retiring.

Mrs. Charlie Mae Jackson Jones transitioned to receive her wings on July 4, 2022  to her heavenly Father.  She was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Herman Jackson; sisters, Annette Jackson and Janet Tapley; brothers in law, Charlie E. Jones and Kenneth C. Jones; sisters in law, Emma Duncan and Dolly Jackson.  She is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie C. Jones; children, Andrew M. Jones, Ms. LaMarion Jones, Mrs. Sharwanda Jones George (Keith), Ms. DeDjuana Jones, John R. Jones and Tony Whitehead;  grandchildren, Perris K. Jones, Jhory A. Jones, Ms. Morgan D. Jones, Ms. Abrielle M. Jones, Sky McCain, Aspen McDowell, Keith J. W. George (Erika) and Katrice Thomas; brothers, Andrew Jackson, Sr., Earnest Jackson (Dorothy) and Ulysees Jackson (Rochelle); sisters in law; Ms. Jessie Clyde Henderson, Mrs. Doris Rumph and  Mrs. Louise Jones; brothers in law, Walter C. Jones (Marlyn), Clifford Jones (Patricia), Bennie Jones ( Betty Sue), Tommie Jones (Geraldine) and James Jones (Liz); great aunt, Mrs. Bernice Finch; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
