Obituary

A native of Jacksonville, he graduated from Old Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1946.  He attended Benedict College where he earned a B.S. degree – Class of 1950.  Mr. Dailey enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country and received an Honorable Discharge.  He was employed as a Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, having rendered over 30 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include being a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford Dailey, Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Lee Johnson Dailey and brother, William Edward Dailey, IV.  Survivors include his devoted wife of 66 years, Mrs. Harriett Koon Dailey; daughter, Ms. Angelia Koon; sisters, Mses. Dolores Shrewsberry, Barbara Davis (Torrence) and Rudine Evans; brother, Rudolph Dailey; a number of other relatives and friends.
