Obituary

Corrina Farmer, age 76,  passed away on August 12th, 2023 at her home in Jacksonville,Florida.

Corrina, known to her family as "Co" was born on November 23, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Stanton Vocational High School. After graduation, she was employed by Florida Department of Children and Family Services from where she retired after rendering 35 yrs of dedicated service. She went on to do what she loved most, being a Jehovah's Witness, witnessing to people as Jesus commanded his followers to do.

Also, she was an avid walker; which she no doubt gained an appreciation for during her ministry.  She loved long walks along the river as well as at parks and tracks. In April, 2008, she became a regular, full time pioneer. This is what brought her the most joy of all as she loved working in the ministry. Her other great passion as most can attest to was shopping. She loved a great sale and took great pride in the way she dressed. But ultimately, her greatest joy was simply spending time with her family. She was married to her high school sweetheart for 58 years.
She will be most remembered for her love of Jehovah and his people.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Bell, sister, Carol Burns and Dorothy Doctor, bothers: Gary Bell, Joe Taylor; and grandson, Dale Jones.

She is survived by her husband, William Farmer; son, Derrick Farmer; daughters,Favina Paris and Melissa Miller (Garry Miller); grandsons, Terryll Paris, Terrence Paris, II, DeDe Jones, Dale Keshon Jones,Dasha Jones and Raquan Littles; Great grandsons, Terrence Paris III and Jeremiah Stringfield; oldest niece Gail Doctor, as well as a number of other family and friends too numerous to list here.
