Darla Ann Buhek Steed was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Ms. Darlene Cameron Buhek and the late Mr. Ronald Buhek on September 11,1954. She attended Van Nuys High School located in Los Angeles, CA and graduated in the class of 1972. Ms. Steed earned her associate degree in cosmetology in Virginia Beach, VA in 1985.

In her adult life, Ms. Steed resided in Virginia, Beach VA, and was employed as an Emergency Alarm Dispatcher at Multra Guard, Inc. Ms. Steed retired after rendering over twenty years of creditable and dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and, father Ronald Buhek .Mrs. Steed leaves to cherish her great memories children, Ms. Angel Shelton, Robert Norrbom, Mrs. Courtney Norrbom Fuller(Curtis); grandchildren,Reyenna Norrbom, Naziyah Fuller, Lilana Fuller, Ronald Fuller, Inspire "Jelly Bean" Fuller; siblings ,Ms. Kimberly Fair, Mrs. MaryJane Weinfeld (Aubrey), James Buhek, Jon Buhek; a number of nieces ,nephews ,cousins, other relatives and friends.
