HENRY - Mr. David N. Henry, 57, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2018. A native of New York, he was the youngest son of Haywood "Hank" Henry and Mrs. Altamese (Williams) Henry.  He relocated to Jacksonville, Florida at an early age and was educated in the local public schools of Duval County, graduating from Andrew Jackson Senior High School, where he received several accolades as a star football athlete earning a scholarship.  Furthering his education, he attended Indiana State University and completed his studies at the Police Academy through Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

He would then return to Jacksonville, Florida.  Mr. Henry's true love were times spent with family and friends.  He shared interest in food, football, jazz, classic and R&B music and traveling.

Mr. Henry will be remembered most for being a good husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and a great man.  He was the kind of man that all would strive to emulate and the kind of person that humankind would honor.
