Dolores Ponton Shaw's Obituary
SHAW – Mrs. Dolores Ponton Shaw passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. A native of New York, New York, she was educated in the New York Public School System and attended City University of New York. Mrs. Shaw was predeceased by her parents, Alvin and Alice Ponton; stepfather, William Robinson; sister, Gloria "Yiyi" McKenzie; son, Leander "Jerry" Shaw, III; granddaughter, Padrika Burney and significant other and special friend, Retired Justice Leander Shaw, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Sherri Luke (Edmond), Dione Shaw King (Bembry), Dawn Shaw Sims; stepson, The Honorable Sean Shaw; 11 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
