JONES Mrs. Eddie Mae Jackson Jones of 1175 W. 3rd St. passed away peacefully July 6, 2004 in a local hospital. She was a native of Jacksonville, FL, where she received her early education in Duval County, graduating from Englewood Senior High School- Class of 1980. Furthering her education, she attended FCCJ and was employed with University of Florida where she rendered 8 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Jones was a member of Greater Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Gary L. Jones; daughters, Ms. Takisha J. Goolsby and Ms. Deidre N. Jones; sons, Vernon C. Goolsby and Dante M. Jones; grandchildren, Zykeria V. Wilburn and Jared M. Harrell, Jr.; mother, Mrs. Nancy P. Jackson; father, Eddie Joe Jackson; sister, Ms. Gracie P. Garner; brothers, Kenneth Jackson (Jackie) and James E. Jackson ( Belinda); sisters-in-law, Ms. Kathy Y. Allen, Mrs. Annie Clara Wildman (Early), Ms. Lou Angela Riley and Ms. Lisa G. Daniels; brothers -in-law, Clarence Daniels, Anthony Daniels ( Kathy) and Ronald E. Allen( Linda) ; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Greater Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rev. J.C. Green, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Jones will rest in the mortuary for visitation Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM ( where the family will receive friends at 5 PM) and Tuesday in the church from 9 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
