Elizabeth Howard Gillum's Obituary
GILLUM – Mrs. Elizabeth Howard Gillum passed away peacefully on September 30, 2018 in a local hospital. A native of Chiefland, FL, she attended Williston Senior High School graduating in the Class of 1951. Mrs. Gillum was a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 15 years of dedicated service with the North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was a devoted member of Gateway To Heaven Christian Church, where she was active in Bible Study and the Mother of the Church. Family and Church were her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. J. T. Gillum, Sr.; grandchildren, Eric Jermaine Gillum, Jermale Gillum and Lauren Nicole Sams; her parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Survivors include her children, Charles Gillum (Frances), J. T. Gillum, Jr. (Znovar), Mrs. Barbara Gillum Jones (Rev. Carlton), Mrs. Patricia Gillum Sams (Vincent); 19 grandchildren, Patrick Gillum (Marjorie), Ms. Anissa Gillum, Ms. Shonda Gillum, Charles Gillum (Earlisha), Cory Jones, Christopher Jones (Nadia), Terrance Gillum, Andrew Gillum (R. Jai), Marcus Gillum, Casey Jones (Chelsea), Ms. Monique Gillum, Mrs. Colby Jones Diagne (Serigne), Ms. Zaundria Gillum, Javarez Gillum, Austin Sams and Myles Sams; 28 great grandchildren; sister Mrs. Minnie Lee Roberts; nieces, Ms. Icer Roberts, Mrs. Sally Mae Norris (LaCaza), Mrs. Mary Roberts Golding (Selvin) and Ms. Rosena Roberts Butler; nephews, Harry James Burns (Judy), Benjamin Roberts, Jr. (Leota) and Charles Sharp; a special daughter in-law, Ms. Cynthia Jones Jackson and grandson, Riyan Jackson: a number of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
