Ms. Ellen Dennis Young passed away November 29, 2021.  A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local schools, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1947.  Furthering her education, she attended Howard University, where she earned a Bachelors degree and the Masters was conferred at Hunter College.  Ms. Young was a Social Worker in the State of New York, having rendered over 35 years of dedicated service before retiring.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Young.  Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Cidney Windom of Georgia, Albert Chester, II (Melissa), Albert Chester, Sr. (Karen), Clarence Chester, Joanne Williams, Carol Quiller of Georgia (Timothy) and Gray Quiller of Georgia.
