Mrs. Elouise Holiday McBride passed away November 14, 2020.  A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local public schools, graduating from New Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1952.  Furthering her education, she attended Edward Waters College.  Mrs. McBride was Owner/Operator of Midway Grocery, Ashley St., where she rendered over 37 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include the Baronette Ladies.  She was predeceased by her husband, \James McBride, Sr. Survivors include children, Mrs. Cherylnette McBride Nelson (Ronald), James McBride, Jr. (Priscilla), Andre W. McBride (Bonita) and Cherylnette McBride Greene; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister-in-law, Mrs. Theodora Williams; godson, Raymond King; a number of other relatives and friends.
