Mrs. Essie Mae Myles passed away July 17, 2021.  A native of Monticello, FL, she attended the public schools of Jefferson County, graduating from Jefferson County High School.  Mrs. Myles was employed by the Duval County School System as a Custodian, where she rendered over 35 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include being a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Levi White, III, Pastor, where she served as Mother of the church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Cecil Lavelle Myles; children, Cassandra Jennings, Ethel Cross, Cheryle Patterson, Uzee Bradley, III and Robert Bradley; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a number of other relatives and friends, including special friends, Cathy Sykes and Mary Cardodine.
