George McDuffie, Jr., 69, "Coach Mac," well-known educator, passed away June 4, 2021.  A native of Jacksonville, he attended the local public schools of Duval County, graduating from William M. Raines Senior High School – Class of 1970.  Furthering his education, he attended Southern University, where he earned a B.S. degree.  As one of Baker County's Most Outstanding Educators, he was employed by the Baker County School District as a Teacher, having rendered over 30 years of dedicated service before retiring.  He was predeceased by his parents, George McDuffie, Sr. and Mrs. Louise Hardee McDuffie.  Survivors include his devoted wife Mrs. Kathy M. McDuffie; children, Felicia McDuffie, Keith McDuffie (Melody), Kelvin McDuffie (Chiquita) and Erica McDuffie; sisters, Anita Kaashif and Edythe Stephens of Miami; grandchildren, Naima McDuffie, Jaden McDuffie-Frazier, Naomi McDuffie and Leah McDuffie; niece, Pamela Shingles; a number of other relatives and friends.
