GREGORY LEVERT DANIELS was born on July 18, 1948 in his birth home of Mobile, Alabama. He was raised and grew up in Creola, Alabama. He attended Cleveland Elementary School in Saraland, Alabama and Mobile County High School in Mobile, Alabama.

At an early age he accepted Christ and at the time of his demise was a member of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Superintendent of the Sunday School Department.

In 1968, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country Honorably and was the recipient of the Presidential Unity Citation, the Purple Heart Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Badge Marksman Award.

Gregory Levert Daniels departed this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Daniels and Mackroye King Daniels; and sister, Brenda D. Rice. He leaves behind to share his memories, his sister, Cornelia Daniels Smith; aunt, Etheltine Bertrand; a loving cousin, Susan Serls; a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, other relatives and friends.
