Gregory Lavone Glover, Sr. passed away September  20, 2021.  A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he attended the local public schools.  Gregory was employed as an Owner/Operator of his own Landscaping business, where he rendered several years of dedicated service.  Other affiliations include being active in evangelizing in Prison Ministry.  He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Gloria Bruce Glover; grandparents, Oscar and Mrs. Essie Mae Bruce; siblings, Deborah Glover, Kenny Glover and Larry Bruce.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Aurtricia McGriff Glover; children, Mrs. Bridgette Carter (Gregory), Mrs. Nakia Hooks (Michael), Ms. Michelle Myrick and Gregory L. Glover, Jr.; eight grandchildren; siblings, Ms. Christine Cummings, Mrs. Priscilla Bruce Horace (James), Ms. Sandra Glover, Pastor Harriet T. Brock, Edward Perkins (Barbara); sister-in-law, Ms. Debbie Long; stepchildren, Alicia Murkey, Chad Murkey (Jessica) and Jeremy Murkey; a number nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
