MUHAMMAD Funeral Service for Mr. Hakeem Jaleel Muhammad, age 17, will be held 11AM, SATURDAY, August 5, 2006 in Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, located 1035 Interstate Center Drive, with Pastors Tom E. Diamond and Eugene Diamond, officiating. Mr. Muhammad of 3500 University Blvd. passed away July 26, 2006. A Hollywood, FL native, Mr. Muhammad had resided in Jacksonville the past 14 years, where he was an Honor Student at Robert E. Lee Senior High School. For 3 years, he has been employed by V&R Enterprises, Inc. as a Carpenter's Helper and had been accepted at FCCJ in the Contractors Class starting in August 2006. Mr. Muhammad was predeceased by his grandmother, Ms. Marsha Williams. Survivors include his mother, Ms. Valentina L. Williams; father, Fredric Muhammad; sisters, Mses. Shantel S. Jackson and Halima L. Muhammad; nephew, Jeremiah J. Jackson; grandfather, Fred J. Bazar; uncle, Marvin B. Williams; a number of other relatives and friends. Mr. Muhammad will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends FRIDAY from 5PM until 8PM (where the family will receive friends at 5PM) and in the church Saturday from 9AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at 4404 Key Largo Dr. under the direction of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. (904/766-9671).
