Ms. Hattie Daniels Stewart was born on March 31, 1926, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Augustus Williams Daniels and Hattie Boone Daniels.  She attended the local schools of Duval County and was a graduate of Boylan-Haven School for Girls. Shortly after graduation, Ms. Stewart attended Bethune Cookman University and Hampton University receiving her Associate Degree in Education.

Early in life, she accepted the Lord as her savior and became a communicant of  St. Philips Episcopal Church. She was a Civil Servant employed at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville as an Administrative Clerk rendering over 25 years before retiring. Other affiliations include membership of the Urban League and Kardettes Bridge Club.

She was predeceased by her parents Augustus Williams Daniels, Hattie Boone Daniels and son, Paul Stewart.

On Sunday, May 21, 2023 Ms.Hattie Daniels Stewart passed away peacefully. She is survived by 1 daughter, Leslie Stewart;  5 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; 1 great-great grandchild;  8 Nieces and Nephews; and a number of other relatives and friends.   Hattie is the last member of the Daniels family from the Eastside.  She is Resting in Peace and will be forever in our hearts.
