Obituary

Henry Sharp, Jr., was born to the late Henry Sharp and Eliza Bingham in Palatka , Florida on March 16, 1931.

He attended the schools in Putnam County namely Central Academy Elementary and Central Academy High School.

After finishing High School,  he married his childhood sweetheart, Mildred Lemon.  After six years of military service,  he returned to Palatka for a short time, where his first child, Phyllis Marie,  was born.  They later located to Jacksonville, Florida where four other children were born: David Michael Sharp, Ronald Eugene Sharp, Keneth Arnold Sharp, and Darryl Wayne Sharp ( now deceased); grandchildren, Roshandra Brown, Michael Brown, Ronda Sharp,  and Andrea Sharp. For many years, he was employed at Winn Dixie Warehouse.  Later, he was employeed at Metal Container, a subsidiary of Anheuser Busch, from where he retired.

He studied the bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and dedicated his life to serve Jehovah on March 10, 1996. He later married, his devoted wife, Vera Mae Davis, this union lasted for more than twenty-seven years, where they served Jehovah together until his illness then death.

He leaves to mourn his death his children listed above; one brother, Frank Sharp (Vanessa); a number of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and a devoted spiritual family.
