Mr. James Gordon was born on October 8, 1948, in Jacksonville, FL.  He attended the local schools in Jacksonville and was a graduate of Paxon High School class of 1967.

As a Veteran, Mr. Gordon served many years in the Air Force. He was later employed with U.S. Postal Service where he rendered over 30 years of dedicated service before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents the late Jack Gordon and Mrs. Vivian Carver; his wife, Mrs. Glenda Gordon; his sisters, Mrs.Janet Saig and Ms. Glennie Chavis; and his brother, Mr. Phillip Gordon.

Mr. James Morris Gordon passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022, and leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted daughter, Mrs. Amy Gordon(Deatrick); step children, Jeff Edmunds and Ms. Kelly Edmunds; grandchildren; Dominique Moses and Aaleyah Bell; great grandchildren Aden Warren and Greyson Warren; sister, Ms. Dorothy Ann Milligan; a number of  nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
