Ms. Jeannette Milton Smith passed away January 5, 2022.  A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local schools of Duval County – graduating from New Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1976.  Furthering her education, she attended FSCJ, where she received an Associate's degree. Ms. Smith was employed by the State of Florida Benefits Department as an Interviewer, where she rendered over 16 years of dedicated service before retiring.  She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence Milton, Sr. and Mrs. Willie Lou Henderson Milton and sister, Willie Jane Filson.  Survivors include her sons, Duane Smith, Sr (Muszetta Jones), Darrick Smith (Wendy) and Ron Anthony Hurley; grandchildren, Duane Smith, Jr., Hadrya smith, Khalil Smith, Nia Smith, Olivia Smith and Theodore Smith; siblings, Clarence Milton, Jr., Ivory Young and Barbara Jo Milton; James Milton and RoseMary Milton; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
