PERRY – Jerome Perry, Sr., age 74, passed away peacefully June 7, 2020. A native of Jacksonville, he attended the local public schools, graduating from Stanton Vocational High School – Class of 1964.  Upon completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country faithfully before being Honorably Discharged. Furthering his education, he attended Edward Waters College, where he earned a B.S. degree. Other affiliations include being a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  Mr. Perry was employed as a Clerk with the United States Postal Service, having rendered over 18 years of dedicated service before retiring. Survivors include his daughters, Mses. Marilyn Perry, Monica Perry and Marla Perry; son, Jerome Perry, Jr. (Corella); 3 grandchildren; siblings, Mrs. Willie Mae Davis (Hodges), Mrs. Jacquelyn Perry Williams, Herbert Perry and Charles Perry; significant other, Ms. Deborah Fudge Lundy; a number of other relatives and friends.
