Julius Cuthbert, III, was born to the late Julius Cuthbert, II and Beatrice Thomas Cuthbert on January 17, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida.  He attended the local public schools of Duval County and graduated from Northwestern Junior-Senior High School- Class of 1963.

After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country in Vietnam before being Honorably Discharged.

On February 16, 1967, Mr. Cuthbert was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Miss Gilda V. Sims and this union was blessed with two children.

His career with Anheuser Busch, Inc. spanned over 30 years until his retirement in 2006 where he served as a Brewery Master.  Mr. Cuthbert was a dedicated employee rendering his service until his retirement.

Interests and hobbies of Mr. Cuthbert include being an avid fisherman and a lover of sports.  He  loved to go fishing in his free time.

Mr. Julius Cuthbert,III departed this life on Thursday, March 30, 2023.   He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Thomas Williams.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Gilda V. Cuthbert; children, Tonya Cuthbert Blue (Gregory) and Darrell Cuthbert (Wynter); grandchildren, JaTonjala Kellam, Janay Scott, Darius Cuthbert (Roberta), Kirsten Cuthbert and Derrick Scott, II; great grandchildren, Tyrone Mulkey, Kali Black and Dakota Livingston; sister , Juloris Flagg; a number of nieces, nephews,  cousins, other relatives and friends.
