Ms. Lajuana Jones Drain was born December 8, 1944 to the late Willie Jones and Mrs. Betty Mack Jones Smith in Abbeville, GA. She attended the local public schools of Wilcox County, and was a proud graduate of Northwestern Junior Senior High School – Class of 1961

Ms. Drain was employed with Jax Liquors Inc, as an assistant manager for many years. She was most recently employed with J.M Family World Cars Inc as an import inspector for 15 years.

As an avid worker in her community she had a passion for her community and played a major role in many organizations. Ms. Drain was a cheerleading coach, a softball coach for a team called "Harriettes", organized dances every Saturday night at the community center and even assisted with organizing football teams actively in Sherwood Park.

Ms. Lajuana Drain departed this life Monday, August 29,2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mrs.Pamela Drain; sister, Mrs. Ida Pearl Bryant and nephew, James Thomas Ricks. She Leaves to Cherish her memory her son, Paris L. Drain; daughter, Mrs. Paulette Y. Drain; grandchildren, Brittani Drain,  Paris C. Drain, Mia Drain, Wilton Troy Brown, Jr, Charles Kenneth Smith, III; great grandson, Christian Davis; uncle, Robert Mack; village supporters Mrs. Kia Martin, Mrs. Briana Gary, Mrs. Jennifer Lewis, Mrs. Valerie Curry and a number of other  relatives and friends
