Linda Jackson Griffith was born in Macclenny, Florida on
May 24, 1955. She received her diploma from Baker
County High School and went on to obtain an
Associate's Degree from Lake City Community College.
After serving several years in the mental health field with
the State of Florida, she obtained various certifications in
the health care field, where she continued her career in
Community Senior Services.
Linda departed this life on December 17, 2023, and was
preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Odessa
(Hubbard) Jackson; son, Craig West; sister, Virginia Mae
Jackson; sister, Annie Mae Moore; brother, Albert
Anderson; brother, Curtis Jones; spouse, Willie Griffith.
She leaves to mourn her son, Larry West, Jr. (Stacey);
grandson, Larry West, III; granddaughter, LaTia West;
sisters, Ollie Turner (Charlie), Shirley Banks (Emmett),
Faye Stripling (Virgil), Gail Thompson, Kathelina
Jackson, Joyce Farmer (Cecil), Lillie Jackson and Bessie
Fitzgerald; brothers, Charles Jackson, Sr. (Valerie), Willie
Kirk Jackson, Sr. (Lisa), and Johnny Jackson; mother
-in-law, Evelyn Griffith; sisters-in-law, Jannell Fultz (Eugene),
Rachel Holmes, Beverly Tyson (Wallace), Cherrilyn Jones
(Lonnie), Loretta Wells (Michael), Denise Cotton
(Derrick), Kathy Smith (Herbert), and Amanda Terry;
brothers-in-law, Eric Griffith and Gerald Griffith (April);
a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
