Mr.  Marcus Leigh Knowles was born of the union to the late Melvin and Dolline Brown Knowles on April 21, 1969 in Miami, Florida. He received his early education in the public schools of Lake Worth graduating from Lake Worth High School.  Furthering his education, he attended Palm Beach Atlantic University & Grambling State University.

Mr. Knowles was hardworking with an impeccable work ethic. He was a Forklift Operator employed by Boston Proper until retiring after 22 years of dedicated service. Marcus was the number one fan of University of Miami Sports. "Slim" as his good friends called him affectionately had a wonderful sense of humor.

On April 30, 2023 Mr. Knowles peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marlow Brown; children, Micheal Knowles, Marcus Knowles, Christopher Knowles, Kellan Knowles; stepson, Christopher Durham; sisters, Ms. Laveria Knowles and Aretina Fredrick (Tyrone); aunt, Ms. Delores Gregory; Father & Mother in law, Willie & Burnese Brown; brothers in law, Willie Brown Jr. and Larry DeCarmine; sisters in law, Ms. Linda Brown; and a number of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
