BRADY Mrs. Margie Perkins Brady passed away peacefully November 10, 2010. She was a native of Jacksonville, FL, where she attended public schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton Senior High School. Mrs. Brady was employed with Duval County School Board until she retired after 34 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Bishop Tom E. Diamond and Rev. Dr. Eugene Diamond, Pastors. Other affiliations include member of Exclusive Ladies Social Club. Mrs. Brady was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Emma Brady; and husband, Joseph C. Brady, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Ms. Lenora Patten, Mrs. Jeanette Hollingsworth (Glenn), Mrs. Joann Brown and Ms. Claudette Brady; son, Joseph C. Brady, III, (Carol); 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, including, Ms. Annie Nell Daniels, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Edgewood Cemetery, with Chaplain James Williams, officiating. Mrs. Brady will rest in the mortuary for visitation Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM (where the family will receive friends at 5 PM).
