Marian Delores Mclaurin Young's Obituary
Mrs. Marian Delores McLaurin Young passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018 in a local hospital. A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local public schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1951. Furthering her education, she attended Edward Waters College where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. Mrs. Young was employed with Reno Pharmacy and Shand's Jacksonville rendering over 20 years of dedicated service before she retired. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. John Wesley Young, Sr. Survivors include her children, Ms. Wanda F. Young, Vernon D. Young, Ms. Barbara Young, John Wesley Young, Jr., Rev. Charles Young (Mary); 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Rev. Oliver Simmons (Frances) and Joseph McCoy; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Edith Crump, Ms. Betty Roberts, Ms. Earlene Williams (Eddie), Ms. Rubell Renfroe, Mrs. Janie Glenn (Ronald) and Mrs. Jessie Alexander (Shella); a number of other relatives and friends.
