Mary Ella Parker was born to Esbery "Toby" Parker and Mrs. Rovena Kenon Parker on May 21, 1957 in Midway, Florida. She attended the local schools of Gadsden County, where she graduated high school. Furthering her education, she earned the bachelor's degree in nutrition science at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Early in life, Mary accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and at the time of her demise she was a member of The Bethel Church,under the pastorate of Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr, Senior Pastor and Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr., Pastor Emeritus. As an Outstanding Professional in her career, she was employed by the State of Florida as a Dietitian at the Northeast Florida State Hospital, until retiring after rendering thirty-one years of dedicated service.

Ms. Mary Ella Parker departed this life on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish her memory, including her children, Mrs. Christin Copeland Reese(Carlos) and Jordan Copeland; Raegan and Rhyan Reese; aunt, Mrs. Elise Watson(David); special friend, Henry Strong; a number of cousins other relatives and friends.
