MRS. MARY LIZA JOHNSON SMITH was born February 26, 1924 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Samuel and Celia M. Johnson.  Receiving her education from Duval County public schools, she graduated from Stanton High School and furthered her education by attending Walker Vocational Business College.

As a Christian with a devout faith in God, she was a long-time member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and attended faithfully until her health failed. Mary was employed by Elkins, Inc., where she retired after rendering many years of dedicated service.

God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to call Mrs. Mary Liza Johnson Smith from her earthly labors on October 26,2020 to rest in peace beyond the sky.

She leaves to cherish her memory sister, Alice L. Johnson; nephews, Michael A. Kee, Jonathan A. Kee, and Robert B. Johnson; nieces, Nuguana V. McCoy, Felicia Cross (Charles) and Ms. Lucretia Kee; grand nieces and nephews, Shelia Morgan, Tracy (Mark) Gaston, Shameka (Mathew) Barrino,  Alicia Kee, Jeanette (Tony) Robinson, Lana Kee (Allene) Kee of Concord, Texas, Darius Jones, Jordan Jones, Adrian Jones, Leah Barrino, Aubrey Barrino, Ava Barrino, Matthew Barrino Jr., of Peyton Colorado, Jonathan Kee Jr., Micah Kee, Larissa Raysor, and Kennedy Robinson; friends, Zeker Zeon, Carl Lee and Deacon Lester and Sister Janice Burch; a number of other relatives and friends.
