Mrs. Mary Lee Thomas Wescott transitioned this life on Saturday November 11,2023 surrounded by family. A lady of strong family roots,she was born February 28,1931 to the late Mose and Luberta Thomas in Baxley, Georgia. After relocating to Jacksonville ,Florida ,she attended Duval county public schools.

Mary accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age .At the time the time of demise, She was a devoted member of Abyssinia Baptist Church, faithfully serving until her health failed.

On July 3,1949 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie J. Wescott and this union was blessed with 7 children.

She was employed by Save A Stop, Inc As A Sorter. She retired in 2008, after rendering twenty years of creditable and dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie J Wescott; daughters Thomaseina Latson, and Barbara Cooper; son, Gregory Wescott and Willie Johnson; Mary Lee leaves to cherish her great memories a devoted daughter , Mrs. Sandra Mack (Rudolph); sons ,Ronnie Wescott and Timothy Wescott; one brother, Otis Thomas (Gail) ;a dear friend, Shirley Crum ;a number of  grands, great grands, great great grands , nieces , nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
