NORMAN DENSON, one of five children, was born to the late Willie Denson, Sr. and Mrs.Elizabeth Felix Denson on February 22, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a product of the Duval County Schools, having attended New Stanton Senior High School. Early in life, he accepted Jesus Christ and formerly attended Abyssinia Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Bishop Eugene Diamond. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country until being Honorably Discharged. For more than five years, Norman served as a Merchant Seaman, where he gained his culinary skills. As an Entrepreneur, Norman was Owner/Operator of GCIM—Great Commission International Ministries Promotions Company— for many years.
Norman Denson departed this life on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Ms. Rosalyn Denson, Willie Denson, Jr., Ms. Janet Denson, and Marcus Denson; devoted cousins, Pastor
Thomas Felix, III (Deborah) and Pastor Karen Winston Roziers (Pastor Herbert); a number of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
