Elisabeth Shyrell Iszard, affectionately known as "Lisa", was born to Kenneth Iszard and the late Mrs. Carmina Shyrell Singleton Ortagus in May of 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her early education in the schools of Duval County graduating from Bishop Kenny High School.  Furthering her education, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Jacksonville University.  After graduation, Lisa was employed by the State of Florida as a Counselor. Early in life, she accepted Christ and was a communicant of St. Pius V Catholic Church. Lisa had varied interests, which were exemplified in her work experiences.

Elisabeth Shyrell Iszard departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Mrs. Bobbie Singleton, Mr. Lawrence Iszard, Sr. and Mrs. Catherine Iszard.  She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Ms. Carrisa Shyrell Iszard; father, Kenneth Iszard (Dottye); uncles, Lawrence Iszard, Jr. (Sandra, deceased) and Gary Iszard (deceased); a number of cousins:   Dylan Iszard (Angelica), Dario Iszard (Michelle), Litticia Iszard (Cameron), Joshua Iszard (deceased) (Shonrea), and Mario Iszard, as well as a large number of other cousins and family members.  Devoted friends-Dr. Maxine J. Sherard and Deirdre Sherard Thompson.
