Vantrina Doneet Davis, 52, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 leaving a void that cannot filled. She was born on December 31, 1972, to Vanessa Davis Kato and Donald G. Hay.

Vantrina valued education in spite of being a young mother she continued her education, and became a proud graduated of Jean Ribault High School, Class of 1990.  After graduation she joined the job force, she was previously employed and worked for Florida Blue, where
she was an ardent worker for over 14 years. At the time of her departure, she was employed by First Coast Billing Group.

Vantrina took special joy in crocheting, traveling, visiting restaurants that specialize in her favorite mac and cheese and good wings, she was delighted in taking care of her beloved grandson Emery and granddaughter Elliana, teaching in the nursery in her church and studying the Bible. Her famous saying was "she never leaves the house without her sword (the Bible)."

Vantrina Davis was a devoted mother of four children who were her pride and joy. She would not trade any of them for the world.

She was a faithful member of St Paul AME Church until her health failed. She worked well with all she came in contact with.

Vantrina was preceded in death by her first-born Brandon Quaintance and grandmother
Alberta Troupe.

She leaves to cherish and carry on the beautiful memories to her children: Ashley Quaintance, Donte' Davis and Gregory Davis, two grandchildren Emery Christian and Elliana Davis. Her parents Vanessa Davis Kato (Gregory), Donald G. Hay, brother Donald Davis, Sister Rachel, aunt Illoura Nesmith (Anthony), stepmother Alpha Hay and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
