FLETCHER -   Mr. Oscar John Fletcher, 86, passed away peacefully August 26, 2019.  A native of Jacksonville, he attended the local public schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1950.  Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Airforce, where he served his country faithfully rendering over 30 years of dedicated service before being Honorably Discharged. Also, Mr. Fletcher was employed as a Clerk by the U.S. Postal Service where he rendered over 25 years of service before retiring and with the Air National Guard, where he retired after rendering 30 years of service.  Other affiliations include being a member of the Jacksonville Amateur Golfers Guild (JAGG), Club Baron, Inc., Volunteer at First Tee and TPC.  Survivors include his children, Reginald Fletcher, Mrs. Krystal Fletcher Hagins (Jake), Juan Fletcher (Tameko); 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Edwin Fletcher; brother-in-law, Merice Amiker (Connie); a number of other relatives and friends.
