Pamela Yvette Hickson Dennis was born November 15, 1955 and raised in the city of Jacksonville, Florida. She attended local Duval County Schools, graduating from Paxon High school in 1973, with further studies at Florida State University. Later, she went on to attend and graduate from cosmetology school, thus beginning her career and passion for doing hair.

As a volunteer, she loved to give back to her community. Pamela also loved the Lord and served whenever she could. She served on the Executive Board of the Rhythm of Gospel (Dr. Mark Rogers). Also she attended New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Orlando, Fl.

Ms. Pamela Yvette Hickson Dennis departed this life on Friday July 3, 2020.She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Mrs. Wilma Lauray; daughter Mrs. Cicely Manning (Tarence); granddaughter Ms. Taren Manning, brother Leon Hickson and sister Ms. Detra Hickson; and a host of aunts, uncles , cousins, other relatives and friends.
