Mr. Phillip Andrew Edwards was born on November 5, 1983 in Augusta, Georgia.  He attended the local public schools of Leon and Duval Counties, graduating from Ed White High School – Class of 2002.  Furthering his education, he completed the Medical Assistant Program at Concorde Career Institute in 2014.

Phillip was employed as a Medical Assistant with Southeast Orthopedic Specialists under Dr. Shirley, with whom Phillip greatly admired.

He was predeceased by his mother, Mrs. Stephanie Henderson Perry.

On February 10, 2019, Phillip went home to be with the Lord.  He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Albert Levi Edwards, Jr.; dad, Arthur C. Perry, Jr.; children, Allyssa Nicole Hunt – Edwards, Jaleel Khali Bostic, Malachi Arthur Diego Edwards and Taarig King James Edwards; grandmothers, Lula Mae Edwards and Joyce Perry; siblings, Kenya Edwards Jones, James Ralph Henderson Otey, II, Heather Nicole Henderson Otey, Albert Levi Edwards, III (Bianca); nephews, Lawa, Aleric and Malachi; nieces, Kei Elana, Parris, Lyriq, Makana; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
