Obituary

Mrs. Priscilla McLendon Williamson passed away September 7, 2021.  A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local schools, graduating from Stanton Senior High School - Class of 1947.  Furthering her education, she attended Hunter College, having earned a B.S. degree and later the M.S. degree was conferred.  Mrs. Williamson was employed by the City of New York as the Director of Foster Care, where she rendered over forty years of dedicated service before retiring.   Other affiliations include being involved in many social and civic organizations and longtime member of The Bethel Church, Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., Lead Pastor and Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr., Pastor Emeritus, where she served on numerous ministries.  She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Mrs. A. Renee Williamson James (Ron), Ms. Micha Sanchez (Carranza), M. David Williamson and Zaan McLendon Williamson (Tatonya); grandchildren, Joshua James and Jordan James; great grandson, Wahid James; sister, Mrs. Mabel H. McLendon; sister-in-law, Mrs. Freddie McLendon; a number of other relatives and friends.

DUE TO COVID-19 AND IN ADHERENCE TO THE CDC MANDATE,

THE FAMILY WILL OBSERVE A HOMEGOING CELEBRATION AT A LATER DATE.
