FREEMAN Ms. Regina Pusha Freeman passed away peacefully October 5, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a native of Charleston, SC, where she received her early education in local public schools of Charleston County. Furthering her education, she attended University of Phoenix where in November, 2010 she would receive her B.S. degree in Nursing. Ms. Freeman was a member of Conquers for Christ International Ministries. She was employed with Shands Jacksonville as a Nurse. Other affiliations include membership in Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Inc. Survivors include her daughter, Ms. Takara Teague; mother, Mrs. Eartha Pusha; father, Isaac Pusha (Cynthia); sister, Mrs. Doris Mazyck (Norman); grandmother, Mrs. Evelyn Phillips; special friend, Corey D. Matthews; uncles; aunts; nieces; a number of other relatives and friends. A FUNERAL SERVICE celebrating the life of Mrs. Freeman will be held 11 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Romulus Jones of Conquerors of Christ International Ministries, officiating. Ms. Freeman will rest in the mortuary for visitation Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM (where the family will receive friends at 5 PM) and Saturday at the church from 9 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens of North Charleston, SC. Friends are asked to assemble at the church under the directions of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. 904-766-9671.
