WILLIAMS Mrs. Rosa Balcom Williams passed away peacefully November 6, 2010. She was a native of Glenwood, GA, having resided in Jacksonville most of her life. Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, where she served on the Deaconess Ministry. Other affiliations include former member of Order of the Eastern Star and Heroines of Jericho-Senara Chapter # 34. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray R. Williams. Survivors include her children, Ms. Novella Williams, Ray Williams, Jr. (Arlene), Ms. Rosemary Williams and Robinson Williams; a number of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Williams will be held 10 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Sr. and Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., Pastors, officiating. Mrs. Williams will rest in the mortuary for visitations FRIDAY from 5 PM until 8 PM (where the family will receive friends at 5 PM) and at the church Saturday from 9 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at 4818 Campanella Dr. under the direction of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. 904-766-9671.
