NEAL Mrs. Rosey Todd Neal of 6126 Redpole Ave. passed away peacefully August 12, 2009. She was a native of Dublin, GA, having resided in Jacksonville most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Dea. John C. Neal, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. Survivors include her children, Mrs. Ethel Peterson (Edmond), Freddie Neal, Mrs. Frances Preyer, Mrs. Oleatha Seymore (Raymond), Joseph Neal (Elanor) and Ronald Neal; 18 grandchildren, including a devoted granddaughter, Mrs. Sherri Walker (Alvin); 30 great grandchildren; a devoted sister, Mrs. Mozelle Jefferson; godson, Robert Carswell; sisters-in-law, Mses. Mozelle Neal, Ella Neal and Mary Wells; brothers-in law, Freddie Neal and James Richardson; daughter -in-law, Mrs. Ann Neal; a number of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM, Monday, August 17, 2009 at First New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she held membership, with Dr. James B. Sampson, Pastor, officiating. She served on the Deaconess Board and District # 4 of her church. Mrs. Neal will rest in the mortuary for visitation Sunday from 3 PM until 6 PM (where the family will receive friends at 3 PM) and at the church Monday from 9 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund and Peaches N'a Basket Adult Daycare Center.
