Mrs. Ruby Williams Morris was born on October 8, 1922 in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late George and Carry Williams.

In her adult life, she met and married Charlie Morris and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida.

Mrs. Morris was employed as a Packer for Frito-Lay, having rendered over thirty years of dedicated service before retiring. Other affiliations include being a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Deaconess.

She was predeceased by her son, David Williams and her husband, Charlie Morris.

On September 22, 2021, Mrs. Ruby Williams Morris went home to be with the Lord.  She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Mrs. Valentina Ford Mann (Henry), George Young (Phyllis), Ms. Abby Woodruff and Ms. Phyllis Kease); grandchildren, Adrain Mann (Melissa). Ms. Takila Mann, Ms. Monica Mann, William Young (Felicia), Ms. Serena Young, Ms. Tinishia Young, Lamont Stephens, Ms. Felicia Kease, Ms. Kaila Ridley, Malik Marshall, Makobi Marshall and Maa'ki Marshall; thirty-two great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; devoted niece, Ms. Priscilla Williams; a number other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Mrs. Williminia Fisher and  Ms. Dottye Parsons Young.
