Obituary

MCCLENTON - Mr. Sam McClenton, Jr., 66, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2018. A Jacksonville native, he received his early education in the Duval County Public Schools. He was a Veteran honorably serving in the US Army. Mr. McClenton was employed at UF Health until retiring in 2015. He was a member at Open Arms Christian Fellowship. Other affiliations include member of SCLC. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Sam McClenton Sr and Mrs. Ethel Parris-McClenton. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Darlene Fox-McClenton; daughter, Mrs. Kavondria North (Jamison) of Atlanta, Ga; stepsons; Rudolph Fox (Amy) and Austin Dorsey; grandchildren; Raijon Neal and Ms. Raven Neal, of Atlanta Ga; sisters, Mrs. Ethel McClenton-Channelle (Henry) and Mrs. Jana-McClenton Harris (Kelvin) of Atlanta Ga; special nephew, Emarri McClenton (Marcie) of Atlanta Ga; aunts, Mrs. Viola P. Albritton and Mrs. Geneva Presha; brother in law; Paul Fox (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Mrs. Gail Tripp (Darius), Ms. Sybelia Fox, Ms. Nanette Fox and Ms. Mary Fox; a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.
