Obituary

Mrs. Sarah Harvin Houston, passed away peacefully August 9, 2021.  A native of Whigham, Georgia, she lived in St. Petersburg, Florida and Jacksonville, Florida most of her life.  Mrs. Houston was employed by the United States Navy Exchange as a Sales Clerk, where she rendered over 25 years of dedicated service before retiring.  Other affiliations include being a faithful member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, Rev. Don Johnson, Pastor, having served on the Deacon Board and on the Session Board of Elders.  She was predeceased by her parents, Shelley and Mrs. Mary Kelley Harvin and sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Drayton.  Survivors include her husband, Grady Houston; son, Craig D. Houston (Tina); granddaughter, Kayla Brandenburg Curtis; grandsons, Khleem Curtis Collier and Bakir Curtis Collier; sister, Mrs. Allie Kimble of St. Petersburg, FL; sister-in-law, Ms. Vernell Carter; brother-in-law, Quention McFadden; a number of other relatives and friends.
