Siteria Beatrice Foster Gore was born on February 18, 1935 to Willie Foster and Mrs. Mattie Taylor Foster in Jacksonville, Florida. Siteria was fondly know to everyone as "Pinkie"
Siteria attended local Jacksonville schools and graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert High School, Class of 1953 where she was a member of the school's drill team and was voted "Most Friendliest".
On July 8, 1959, she married Leroy Gore, Jr. and during their 56 years of marriage, had two daughters, Regina Siteria Gore and Leslie Lynn Gore. Siteria only had two natural daughters, but because of her kind heart and spirit, she was considered as a surrogate mother to many of her daughter's friends.
Siteria's spiritual journey led her to become a Jehovah's Witness in 1972 and was an active member of the Northwest congregation for 52 years.
Siteria was employed by Prudential Insurance Company for 29 years until her retirement in 1994.
Our sweet loving Siteria, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mattie Foster, her step-mother, Susie Leonard Foster; husband, Leroy Gore, Jr, and brother Theodore N. Foster.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ms. Regina S. Gore and Ms. Leslie L. Gore; sister-in-law, Mrs. Theresa Foster; two nieces, Ms. Sonya Roberts and Ms. Connie Jackson; nephew, Teddy R. Foster.
She is also survived by her best friend and life long neighbor, Mrs. Juanita Bacon; neighbors John and Mrs. Eleanor Price; special friends, Mrs. Berdine Willis, Mrs. Bertha Dean, Mrs. Johnestine Daigeau, Mrs. Mabel Torrence, Mrs. Gwen Bevel, Rob Snow, Mrs. Pat Bentley Mrs. Linda Anderson; and devoted caregiver, Ms. Vonnie Stephens; and a number of other relatives, and friends who will remember her.
