LETTSOME - Ms. Sonia Davis Lettsome passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2021. A native of St. John's Antigua located in the West Indies, Ms. Lettsome attended local schools where she graduated from Golden Grove Secondary School before moving to Tortola British Virgin Island and eventually relocating to Jacksonville Florida. Once relocating  to Jacksonville, Ms. Lettsome furthered her education by attending Florida Junior College (now FSCJ) where she received an A.S. degree in nursing. She would later be employed as a registered nurse by Methodist Hospital and U.F. Health-Shands Jacksonville from 1984 to 2012 rendering nearly 40 years of dedicated service before retiring. Other affiliations include being a member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ms. Lettsome was a giving person and an amazing cook who spent her entire life helping others. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ms. Sharette Lettsome. To cherish her memory Ms. Lettsome leaves behind her children, Mr. Melville Lettsome (Ava), Ms. Marsha Lettsome, Dr. Elvis Lettsome, Ms. Eka Lettsome, and Ms. Sharon Lettsome; grandchildren, DeAndre Lettsome (Amber), Ta'Ron Andrews, and Jasmine Forsyth; sister, Mrs. Carol (Davis) Samuel; lifelong friend, Ms. Rosabel Martin; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

There will be a Destination Memorialization in St. John's Antigua, West Indies.
