Ms. Tetley Jean Wright Bender was born September 18, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the only child born to Reuben and Beverly Wright.  The family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where she attended elementary, junior and senior high school.  In her senior years, Tetley was crowned Miss Ribault in 1987.  She was active in numerous organizations.

Upon graduation from high school, Tetley attended Bethune-Cookman College.  While at Bethune, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  Tetley later transferred to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree.  Her career included leadership positions in Sales, Computer IT and Insurance.

At an early age, Tetley gave her life to Christ, while a member of St. Stephens A.M.E. Church.  In later years, she attended Deeper Waters Christian Church.  During her life's journey, she celebrated many successes.  Regardless of what the challenges may have been, she remained positive, focused and a strong believer in God.  She turned challenges into victories and always found ways to look beyond her circumstances.

Tetley was preceded in death by her father, Reuben Wright; mother, Beverly Frazier Wright Cole and her daughter, Little Miss Taye'ce Aniyah Brown.

On July 29, 2021, Ms. Tetley Jean Wright Bender went home to be with the Lord.  She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Fredrick Cole, Jr. (Calisa); uncle, Ben Frazier, Jr.; aunts, Lynne Frazier Walker, Vickie Bryant and Josephine Frazier; cousins, Kelly Frazier, Ben Frazier, III and Arthur Straughter, Jr.; a number of other relatives and friends.

All of the earthly things are behind her now and she is resting in the presence of the Lord.
