Mrs. Thelma Carrier Cobb passed away January 23, 2021. A native of Jacksonville, she attended the local schools, graduating from Stanton Senior High School – Class of 1951. Furthering her education, she attended Edward Waters College, where she earned a BS degree and later the Master's degree was conferred from Florida A & M University. As one of Duval County's Outstanding Educators, Mrs. Cobb was employed by Duval County School Board as a Teacher, having rendered over 30 years of dedicated service be-fore retiring. She was predeceased by her husband, Joel Cobb and her sisters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hooks and her twin, Mrs. Zelma Carrier Wade (Raymond). Survivors include her children, Ms. Gaynor L. Cobb, Breshaun Christopher Cobb and Ms. Aerial Cobb; granddaughter, Mrs. Timmeka Rahim (Stacy); a number of other relatives and friends.
